Privacy policy

This policy explains how 433 GAMES, MB (433games, “we”) handles information in Snack Attack and when you contact us about the game. We are the controller for the personal information we process. Contact us at bethain@433games.eu.

We do not operate our own cloud account or coin-balance backend for Snack Attack. However, the game uses third-party services for advertising, purchases and online leaderboards. These services can process information even when you do not provide your real name.

Game progress and local storage

The game stores your chosen player name, settings, scores, coin balance, unlocked snacks, items and records used to prevent duplicate purchase or ad rewards on your device. These records support gameplay and saving your progress. Device or operating-system backups may retain or restore them. We do not provide a cloud synchronisation or recovery guarantee.

Online leaderboards and GDevelop

Snack Attack uses GDevelop’s online leaderboard service. When a score is submitted, your chosen player name and score are sent to GDevelop and may be displayed publicly to other players. Please use a nickname rather than your real name or other personal information.

GDevelop services may also process technical connection information and game usage metrics to operate and measure their services. See the GDevelop privacy policy. Contact us if you want help removing a leaderboard entry, including the nickname and score so we can identify it.

Optional rewarded advertisements

You can choose to watch a rewarded advertisement for an in-game benefit. Ads are provided through Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process your IP address (including approximate location inferred from it), device or app identifiers, diagnostic and performance information, ad views and interactions. These support ad delivery, measurement, security and fraud prevention.

The current iOS integration requests non-personalised ads. Non-personalised ads can still use identifiers or device storage for purposes such as limiting repeated ads, reporting and fraud prevention; they do not mean that no information is processed. Where required, a consent message lets you make choices before ads are requested. You can revisit available choices using the game’s “Ad privacy” option. You can decline optional rewarded ads and continue playing without the extra reward.

In-app purchases

On iOS, Apple processes coin purchases through the App Store. We do not receive your payment card or bank details. The game receives product and transaction information needed to deliver coins and avoid granting the same purchase twice, and keeps delivery records locally. Apple handles payment and related account information under its privacy policy. Purchased consumable coins are not a cloud-backed balance provided by us.

Support messages

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you send, such as a description of a problem, screenshots or purchase references. We use these to respond and resolve your request. Please do not send passwords, payment card details or unnecessary personal information.

Why information is processed

Where European data-protection law applies, we rely on performing our agreement with you for essential gameplay and purchase delivery; legitimate interests for responding to support requests, maintaining service reliability and preventing abuse; consent where required for advertising-related storage or processing; and legal obligations where records must be retained. You may withdraw consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Sharing and international processing

Information is shared with the services described above as needed for their features, with our email service to handle correspondence, and where necessary to meet legal obligations or protect against fraud or abuse. We do not sell player contact details. Third-party advertising and platform services have their own data practices and may process information outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Their linked policies explain the safeguards they use, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses where applicable.

Retention and security

Local game records remain until cleared or removed, subject to device backup behaviour. Leaderboard records remain with the service until removed or reset. We retain support correspondence only as long as needed to handle the issue, related follow-up, disputes or legal requirements. Third-party providers retain their records according to their own policies and obligations. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent. Email bethain@433games.eu to make a request. We may need information to verify and locate the relevant record; we cannot retrieve device-only saves remotely. Requests about information controlled independently by Apple or Google may also need to be sent directly to them.

You may complain to your local data-protection authority, including Lithuania’s State Data Protection Inspectorate (VDAI). Clearing local game data can permanently remove your progress and coin balance and does not automatically remove third-party records.

Children

Snack Attack is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Where a higher age for valid consent applies, we follow the applicable requirements.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the game or its services change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated as required. For privacy questions, contact bethain@433games.eu.
